City of Crossing - Midton Circle - evening
How silly of me to keep forgetting that I have this journal. I should be writing things down far better, chronicling my life and the adventures that I am having. Though I would not wish to take massive amounts of time from those adventures just to write about them! Still, in moments of repose it is a good idea. Perhaps I shall have children one day and they might like to know what their mother was up to.
Last year, I met Harkour. I wandered through the territory of the blood wolves, looking for people to offer my healing services to and there he stood. He cut a striking figure in his magnificent plate armor, and he spoke so beautifully I was instantly charmed. I departed, and wondered if I might even see him again. How excited I was when I saw him a few days later in the Empath guild. Since then, we have been mostly inseparable, save for those times I must away to tend to my training. We became engaged a few months ago, and I think we are both looking forward to the wedding.
My beloved sleeps in the bed nearby as I rest near the fire. It's another rainy night and I felt a chill so I decided a little fire would not hurt. Not long before we got engaged, I was able to secure a little house for us in Midton Circle in the Crossing. We have made it ours in every way - placing some of the various trinkets from our adventures upon the walls and furniture. We recently went on an excursion to Taisidon Island, and we quite enjoyed ourselves, finding all sorts of exotic flowers that now have a home in our little house. My favorite is the beautiful rose that looks like a rainbow, I am hoping to perhaps make use of another bloom when a merchant comes.
My beloved wakes. Until next time.
